In the world of marketing businesses use what is called the four Ps to help grow their bottom line year over year. The first P of the marketing strategy which a business will look at is the type of product they will offer to their customers. The company will also look at the marketplace for that product and what other competitors are offering that product and if consumers are willing to purchase it. The second P of the marketing strategy which businesses have to consider is the price that they will charge for their product or services. If the business is a startup company, the owner of that business has determine what price that he will charge for his merchandise to make sure it is competitive and will it be attractive to perspective buyers.

I once saw a video on You Tube called “Do What You Say You Will Do” which was posted by openthemeeting.com. The video told the story about a man who was traveling on the road by stagecoach with a military man who was a colonel. As they traveled for several miles the colonel pulled out a bottle of whiskey and asked the man would he like to have a drink with him. The man declined the offer of the colonel and let him know that he did not drink. As they continued on their journey, the colonel then said since I could not interest you in having a drink with me could I then interest you having a smoke with me? The colonel pulled out some cigars and offered one of the cigars to the man, but before the man gave his reply, he paused and then shared a story with the colonel.

A Standard of Manhood

Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”

Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.
Children born to a young man (Psalms 127:3-4).

In December of 2004 my wife and I got up at 4 AM in the morning to prepare to go to the hospital. That morning my wife was going to the hospital to have our first child by C section and the surgery procedure was to going to happen at 7 AM that morning. The doctor wanted to perform the procedure instead of natural child birth so that my wife would not have any medical complications in having our first child. As we prepared to leave that morning, the weather was terrible and the blizzard conditions made driving on the road nearly impossible. When my wife finally had our child at 8:30 AM that morning, the birth of our child was truly a life changing experience for us both. As I held our daughter in my hands, I remember touching her little hands and I felt her making contact with mine. It was at that moment that I knew that I would be wrapped around her little fingers and she would be daddy little girl for life.

Future Athletes of America

In researching this topic, my eyes were opened and I was amazed at how challenging it is to become a college athlete! You not only have to be a skillful athlete in a particular sport but you have to be a well-rounded, well-educated student.  You have to produce evidence of your brawn and your brain power. I now understand the reason why so many of our young people, who have great athletic potential never get beyond this point of potential.

The Leading Man

Posted on Updated on

In the world of Hollywood there are decisions that are made by people who look to cast certain actors and actresses for big budget movies. Sometimes the person who is chosen as a leading actor could be someone who has starred in a previous movie while another person maybe starring in the role for the very first time. The leading actor could be casted for a movie that is action packed, drama or a comedy. They also could be casted in movies which are inspirational or even based upon a true story of someone life. Some of my favorite movies like these are Gridiron Gang, Remembering the Titans and Men of Honor which were played by some of my favorite leading actors.
