You’re a Woman Just Like Me
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well (Psalm 139:14-KJV)
In Celebrating Mother’s Day let us open the floodgates of love; we are all daughters of the Most High God! Our Heavenly Father chose women to be the doorway into this world. What a priceless honor!
You’re a woman just like me, A mother you maybe, a sister could be a possibility, a daughter we all are, a wife, an Auntie that everyone loves, a Grandmother or a Godmother you are or soon to be, a good best friend we all should desire to be; You’re a woman just like me.
Yes, I know your hair maybe longer, shorter, colored, different hairstyles and fierce cuts, we come in all shapes and sizes; we love different designs and looks; it’s wonderful to be an original! You may even be bold and beautiful that’s naturally fabulous too! You’re a woman just like me.
We are pieces to a world of ethnicities and categories that brings together a rainbow of diversities with striking gifts and talents, making up a bowl of excellence in everything we put our hand to as women.
You may have desired or already aspired to be a Doctor, Lawyer, Director, Principal, Teacher, Nurse, Singer, Actor, Model, Chef, Manager, Supervisor, Bus Driver, Preacher, Pastor, an Artist, whatever your position or the dreams you soon hope to be, you’re a woman just like me.
We hurt, we bleed, we go through pain, struggles, we’re afraid sometime, we don’t trust like we should, we deal with all kind of challenges and insecurities, yet you’re a women just like me.
Let us strive to be Virtuous Women; let strength and honor be our clothing. When we open our mouths let it be full of wisdom so the law of kindness will be on our tongue.
Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Taken from Proverbs 31:25, 26, 30…….
You’re a Women Just Like Me!
